Sweet Powder

Spiced sugar, used in other recipes such as Chicken Hippocras. Could also be used to flavour puddings and to make a variation on the usual mulled wine.

Ingredients:

Approx. 2 oz sugar
Approx. 1 tsp cinnamon
Approx. 0.25 tsp ginger
pinch of nutmeg

Method:

Mix all the ingredients together in a bowl.

The powder will keep for a long time in an airtight jar or container and stored in a cool dry place.
