Events

This is the confirmed programme of events for 2007.

The dates and location of each event are given. Where possible, clicking the name of the venue links to a website with information about it including its postcode which can be used with satellite navigation systems. There's also a link to a map from www.streetmap.co.uk - these can be zoomed in and out to enable you to easily find the venue.

Further events are in the process of being finalised and will be added as soon as the details are confirmed, so check back here regularly!

Hollowell Steam Fair, Northants (click for map) Living history - navvies from the time of the Fen Drainage 1628/9. You need to phone Simon Rayner if you're thinking of attending (phone number in The Culverin, or email the webmaster and I'll pass on your details).	July 7th / 8th (weekend)
Forty Hall, Enfield EN2 9HA (click for map)	August 4th / 5th (weekend) Note change of date!
Lyveden New Bield (near Oundle) (click for map) This is a training event.	August 18th / 19th (weekend)

We are always on the lookout for suitable venues for our events. Additionally we may be able to give a talk or display at your local school or other group.

If you would like to talk to us about an event, please contact the Secretary (details on the contacts page). Tell us the date and the type of event, along with details of the venue and your local area and we will try our best to arrange something.

Note that we generally prefer not to do large 'arena' events, but will consider the possibility if the theme is suitable.
